Rainy Day Activity

It has rained constantly for the past 24 hours in our corner of the world, so we had to come up with an activity to do indoors. Yesterday, I gave Nora a shallow bucket, some cups, and dry beans to play with. And you can tell from the pictures she LOVED IT. So today, I took it a steep further and buried letters in the beans and asked her to find them. It was a treasure hunt. So far she is having a blast and has even picked up a few letters and told me what they are! Very good indoor activity.

Please note: I'm not sure if the pictures are going to post in order. If not, yesterday she wore a purple shirt and today she is wearing a green shirt.
