Toddler Approved Apps Part 2

If you remember last weeks post about the Baby First TV app, you will know that this post is a continuation of that post.

This week we will be talking about the first Fisher-Price app on our list.  That is the Laugh & Learn Learning Letters with Monkey app.

This is what iTunes says about the app: "A fun-filled learning app that features baby's favorite Laugh & Learn characters!  Babies are encouraged to interact with engaging animations, sing-a-longs, and sound effects..."

When you first open the app, you will have to chose from four different categories.

The first category is the ABC's. Here you go through the alphabet with super cute animations with each letter.  After the letter "z", the ABC song will play, while you dance along with the monkey.

The next category is the 123's. Here you will see a number and then a number of items that number represents.  For example, if there is a number 4 on the screen then there will be four objects that appear.

After you get to ten, there will be a fun song that will play about numbers.

Next, we will go to the shapes & colors category.  Here your child will learn about red hears, yellow stars, white moons, orange diamonds, green triangles, purple circles, and blue squares.  There are two fun songs in this section.

Lastly, we have the music category   Here you get the songs from the other categories plus two more.

 UPDATE:

Look what Nora got for Christmas!

It is the Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Apptivity Monkey, and he holds her iPod touch! He will also help her control this app!  It's super cool if you ask me, and well worth the money.
