While I'm not new to the idea of babywearing, I didn't start using a ring sling myself until my second son was born.  I was thrilled when Comfy Joey offered to send me a ring sling of my choice in exchange for my honest review! 

Comfy Joey offers many different ring slings from water slings to linen - in a variety of colors.  For my sling I chose their Sipadan Island, which is a gorgeous teal-green color, with two metal sling rings to secure the sling during your carry! I often get comments or questions on it and am delighted to share with them about the ring sling! Anyway to encourage a mama into babywearing is always fun!! Comfy Joey Ring Slings are great for newborns to 30/35lbs comfortably making it possible to keep your little one close while being hands free.

The sling I chose is 100% linen which has been great for these hot summer days.  Light, yet supportive - the ring sling is super breathable keeping baby and I ubber comfortable.  Right out of the bag I was really amazed at how gorgeous the color truly is.  Pictures don't do it justice! However, the sling fabric  was a bit rough at first but a cold wash, air dry and steam iron softened it right up! For those that aren't familiar with baby carriers, this is actually quite common for these kinds of carriers - I often had to do it in the beginning with my woven wrap as well.  The sling will also soften with use.
