Baby Marohn's Holiday Gift Guide: 100% Pure Cosmetics Review & Giveaway

If you are like me, I worry about chemicals and stuff that goes into everyday products that we use and that we use on our children.  This really started to worry me, when I signed Goose up for her Holiday dance recital.  I knew then that they require that the girls wear some eye shadow, blush, and lipstick.  So, here I go on another one of my "quests" to find something better for our daughter.  That is when I found 100% Pure Cosmetics.

One thing I learned by looking at 100% Pure's website is "as much as 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed into the blood stream."  Wow 60% is actually a lot.

Now, did you know that a lot of cosmetics contains chemicals and ingredients that can actually CAUSE cancer?  You can learn more about that on Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. With 100% Pure, you don't have to worry about any any of that. All of their products are...well... 100% pure.  "That means there are no synthetic chemicals, chemical preservatives, artificial fragrances, artificial colors, harsh detergents or any other unhealthy toxins".

Now that you know some of the goodies that makes up 100% Pure, let me tell you what they have.

Unfortunately, my camera would not do the justice these blushes deserved so I had to use stock photos from 100% Pure.

My favorite have to be the pot rouge blushes.  I have the Baby Pink and Ballerina, and they are beautiful.  100% Pure has made these pot rouge blushes 100% natural, 100% vegan, and 100% gluten free!  Awesome right.  The color comes from fruit pigments, and is very very vibrant and beautiful on the skin.  The Ballerina color is shimmery and also makes a great eye shadow (since I am all about some multi-purposing).

Another one my favorites is the fruit pigmented lip gloss.  This lip gloss is once again all natural and vegan friendly.  That way you don't have to worry about accidentally ingesting something harmful. The fruit pigments give you a subtle tint, with a great gloss.

If you (or the person you a buying for) are someone who likes a little more lip tint than what the gloss has to offer, you should check out the lip butter.  I got to try the peach and the strawberry, and let me tell you, this lip butter not only gives you a great color, but leaves your lips felling super soft.  I just loved it.  If you are once again worried about the ingredients, let me put your mind at ease.  It too is all natural, gluten free, and vegan.  It does contain avocado oil, shay butter, and coco butter for ultra-moisturizing.

Here is a photo of the back of the lip butter, so you can read the ingredients for yourself.

I am in love with these products, and I know that I would love to get some as a holiday gift.

If you are interested in buying some 100% Pure products, you can do so on their website.  It's not cheap, but then again sometimes you have to pay for quality. Also, if it's a product that I am going to use anyway, and it is safe for Goose to use too, I feel the price is justified.
